Passover is a Divinely Covenanted Annual Rememberance Feast for the ~Hebrews~ Jews. The deliverance of the Israelites from captivity and slavery, “Passing Over” of the plague of destruction and the sparing of the firstborn of the Israelites as the Lord “smote the land of Egypt” are Tenets of this Divinely Mandated ~Passover~ Feast.
Exodus 12:18 commands that Passover be celebrated, “from the fourteenth day of the month of Nisan. At the evening, you shall eat unleavened bread until the evening of the twenty-first day of the month ”
Going by the Jewish Calendar to calculate the Month of Nisan, Passover 2020 was slated to commence in the evening of Wednesday, April 8, 2020 and end in the evening of Thursday, April 16, 2020
The Global Covid-19 Pandemic and it’s related distortions, including restrictions on social gathering, Ghana included, gave reason for the date for the Remembrance Feast to be rescheduled. This, however, did not change the Spiritual Significance of the Celebration by the Israel King of Jews Church in Ghana
The Founder and Spiritual Leader of the Church, Prophet N’akoa Nazareth Ansah Jamson has always postulated that God’s Orderliness is enshrined in His Word given to all of mankind. This must be adhered to by all.
N’akoa Nazareth Ansah Jamson, God’s Approved Spiritual Leader, therefore, sought Divine direction and permission for the celebration to be held on yet another Heavenly Approved Calendar date
Following the easing of the restrictions on social gatherings on June 7, 2020 by the Government, N’akoa Nazareth Ansah Jamson, Leader of Israel King of Jews Church and also the Spiritual Leader of the much respected Prophets and Spiritual Churches Council of Ghana, commenced preparations to lead both the Church and the Nation Ghana in the very unique 2020 Passover Rememberance Feast
Per Divine direction received by N’akoa, the 2020 Passover period began on the evening of Thursday, October 8 to the evening of Thursday October 16, 2020.
The Daytime Celebration of the 2020 Passover Feast Is unprecedented. It takes the humble state of a True Servant of The Lord God of Hosts to be given such a historic mandate from Heaven for the Passover to be held in the afternoon in lieu of its Night tenet. It is a Universal Turnover of this Special Event. This postions N’akoa to be a Unique Voice of God in World Affairs. ~Not even in the Nation-State of Israel was such a Command Given~.
This year’s Passover Feast was held at the forecourts of the Eli Yahwe Yir’e Temple in Ghana on Thursday 16th October. This venue enabled the directives on health issues to be able to fully enforced. These included:
• Wearing of nose masks
• Hand washing with soap and running water
• Hand sanitizer usage
• Social distancing
Some of the religious rites were revised and others totally exempted to prevent close contact among celebrants.
The year 2021 Passover is scheduled to begin in the evening Wednesday, March 27, and end in the evening of Sunday, April 4, 2021. The Passover Feast will thus be Celebrated at the Eli Yahwe Yir’e Temple on Thursday, April 1, 2021. To God be the GLORY.
